School MakerSpaces have become popular in K-12 across North America. These active centres of student inquiry have been designed in accordance with a blueprint that was produced within communities. The research on community MakerSpaces suggests that members of minoritized groups are under-represented. What are the roots of under-representation and the potential consequences?
