Contact Me

My name is Nicola Myers Gardere, I am an Assistant Principal, Trainer of Trainers for Restorative Discipline Practices in Texas, International guest speaker and a scholar. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services management, A masters in Curriculum and Instruction/English language Arts, Principal Certification K-12. I am currently pursuing a course of study leading to a Doctor of Education in Administration Leadership. I am also the CEO of Myers Gardere International Foundation where the primary focus is changing the culture in our community through building and restoring relationships. I am also a graduate of Hampton High School, Jamaica.
I firmly believe when implemented with fidelity, Restorative Discipline Practices as a school wide relational approach will ensure your campus culture and community is restored. This approach will create meaningful opportunities to address behaviors, restore cultures and repair harm done to self and others.
Ted Wachtel states, “The fundamental premise of restorative practices is that people are happier, more cooperative and productive, and more likely to make positive changes when those in authority do things with them rather than to or for them.”
