If you’re looking for creative, relevant strategies to increase youth engagement and successful youth programs, Jemmelia is your go-to consultant. For the past 10 years, she has been making waves across the GTA for her successful group programs & workshops that focus on mental health, mentorship, personal growth & professional development.
She has a talent for creating unique partnerships with corporate organizations such as Salesforce and Microsoft Canada who worked to co-create the School-to-Work Youth Employment Program. Her current pilot Program Girls Night In continues to be in a high demand in Mississauga, with a growing wait list of young girls eager to build new relationships, social skills, coping strategies clear goals for their future. Her successful work with creating sustainable programs with proven outcomes led to an invitation to be a Presenter at the 2017 Ontario Association for Child and Youth Care Provincial Conference.
In 2018, she created a growing community outreach initiative with The 519 Community Centre called The Street Store. This semi-annual initiative successful served more than 250 families and transient youth with access to important resources such as clothing, community supports and hygienic products for daily living. Other notable achievements would be the creation successful workshops such as the BMO Youth Mental Health Conference, Building Big Leaders Conference, Youth Scholarship Workshops & Youth Speed Mentoring Workshops. She hopes to continue to create new initiatives that aim to empower youth to break down their own barriers and lead thriving, healthier lives.
